Rolf and his friends knew that life would be hard for the Palman people
after Mother Brain's destruction. But even they could not predict the
depths to which their suffering would fall. The time for ignorance and
laxity is over. The Palman people must relearn what they had forgotten,
and master what Mother Brain has left them. Not all battles are won with
the sword, nor are all heroes those who have defeated the blackest of
villains. Three people take up the challenge with a hope for a lost
dream, and the restoration of their world.
